Wichtels Rätselsommer 2024 (2): Lustige Schlittenfahrt

(Published on 14. August 2024, 20:23 by wichtel)

To Christmas 2023 some eager puzzlefriends have again arranged a group in which everybody had to make anonymously a puzzle for someone else. These puzzles are now presented one after the other here in the portal.

The gnomes were not prepared for the first snowfall of the year: by the time they had gathered all their gloves, hats, and warm socks the lovely white powder had already transformed into a dirty slush.
The disappointed gnomes glued their noses to the window, just to be sure they wouldn't miss the moment when it would start to snow again. But the gnome-in-chief quickly dragged them away so they could get back to work: "First you have to finish the gifts, then you can think about sledding."
Fiiiinally the gifts were ready, but now the dumb weather didn't want to play along: either it was cold yet too dry, or it had rained and it was too warm for snow.
Just then, when almost everyone had given up, it began to snow. It snowed and snowed and did not stop. Quickly the gnomes put on their warm socks and gloves, donned their hats, and went to retrieve their sleds.
Now they are all standing at the top of the sledding hill and can't come to an agreement about who should be the first to push off. And on which route they could make it to the bottom. They place all of the sleds right next to one another, and so begins the wild ride.
From each point, a long knight's move takes you to the next branch point. For example, on a "3" the path moves 2 cells to the left or right and then takes its third step down one cell. And on a "7" go 6 cells horizontally and one down to the next row.
Unfortunately, not every starting point leads to the goal — in fact there is only one path through to the bridge.
From all the other points, one either lands at a stone letter and the ride comes to an end, or one does get to the bottom, but instead of reaching the bridge one lands head first in the cold stream.
Can you find the only path to the bridge?

Solution code: The numbers of the path, in the consecutive order of the sledge ride.
