WHISPERS - Adjacent digits on a grey line differ by at least N, where N is a different (positive integer) value for each line.
KROPKI - Digits separated by a white dot have consecutive values. Digits separated by a black dot have values in a 2:1 ratio.
The grey nucleus has no associated rules.

My opinion of this puzzle must have lost some electrons, because it's quite positive :)
Working out what N was for each line was quite intriguing, and things flowed nicely from there.
