my first sudoku !

solve with SudokuPad

rules:

normal 6x6 sudoku rules apply

- anti-knight
digits separated by a knights move in chess must be different

- thermometers
digits on a thermometer must increase from the bulb to the tip

- xv
digits separated by a v must sum to 5, and digits separated by an x must sum to 10

Solution code: row 3 (left to right) followed by column 4 (top to bottom)

Very nice debut!

I have a few remarks:
* I would add the rule that there are additional cages, in which you also need to place the digits 1-6 once each.
* (FYI: RxCy = row x column y) I could solve your puzzle with the bulb in R6C5 instead of R6C4. Spoiler alert: After placing all 2's and completing the V and X, you know that the tip of the thermo has to be a 5. You can deduce that R1C2 and R1C3 are the only places a 3 can go in the top left box. Because of that, 3's are restricted to R2C5, R2C6, and R3C6 in the top right box. And because of the knight's move, that makes a 3 in cell R4C6 impossible!
