Background: Destin is a popular vacation destination located in Florida’s panhandle. It is known for its beautiful beaches and breathtaking sunsets.

Think of “Destin Sunset” as “Side A” of a double puzzle. Here, the arrow clues reference the polyominos that are opposite the parity of the arrow (alluding to “yin”). In “Side B” (coming soon), the arrows reference polyominoes that are the same parity as the arrow (alluding to “yang”).

Rules:

• Fillomino: Divide the grid into polyominoes and fill each cell with a number equal to the size of its polyomino. Polyominoes of the same size may not share an edge.

• Yin-Yang: Shade some cells such that all shaded cells are orthogonally connected and all unshaded cells are orthogonally connected. No 2x2 area may be fully shaded or unshaded.

• Parity: All odd polyominoes are shaded, while all even polyominoes are unshaded.

• “Yin” Arrows: Numbers on cells with an arrow indicate the number of polyominoes of the OPPOSITE shading/parity seen in the direction of the arrow.
