PB and Jam
(Published on 9. August 2024, 12:00 by Bearded Fool)
Rules:
Sudoku: Normal sudoku rules apply. The digits 1-9 appear once in each row, column, and 3x3 box.
Sandwich: Numbers outside the grid give the total sum of digits that fall between the 1 and the 9 of the clue’s row or column. The 1s and 9s act as the crust of the sandwiches. Each sandwich must have a peanut and some jam between its crusts.
Parity Peanuts: A peanut separates an odd digit from an even digit.
Jam: You have your choice of black currant or strawberry. Purple jam separates digits that are in a 2:1 ratio. Pink jam separates consecutive digits.
To Play:
SudokuPad
Solution code: row 5 left to right, no spaces

Nice twist. It is nice to see how the twist adds another layer of certainty to the sandwich rules. 2 stars for me

Very fun puzzle!
I just published a jam sandwich puzzle of my own (000JAM), and wondered if there were any others with a similar theme. This is the only one that I found; it's amazing that it was published just 5 days ago!
