Pseudomyno
(Published on 28. July 2024, 22:00 by ndsurgenor)
- Every row, column, and 2x5 box must contain a complete set of the digits 0-9
- Unshaded cells are to be tiled, without overlapping, using all 12 of the standard pentomino shapes (FILNPTUVWXYZ, see below); reflection and/or rotation is allowed
- Cells with a circle contain the largest digit of the particular pentomino they lie within; any number of circles may appear within a pentomino as long as they contain the same digit e.g. a shape containing 04488 could have none, one or both of its 8s circled
- The THREE largest digits, REPEATS INCLUDED, contained within each pentomino must sum to the relevant letter-numeric value of that pentomino shape e.g. the three largest digits within the 'T' shape must sum to 20 as T is the 20th letter of the alphabet, so 04488 could be a valid set of digits (4+8+8)
Solution code: Row 2 and Row 9 (20 digits)
