Puzzle rules

Normal Sudoku rules apply.

Two digits joined by an X sum to 10. All Xs are given.

The two digits joined by a white dot are consecutive. Not all white dots are given.

Here is the SudokuPad link: Primogenesis

This was a puzzle I conceived with a particular task in mind. Maybe you can work out what it was I was trying to do.

Great fun. Had to get the flow of the constraints, but once I'd figured out one of the chained constraints it started to unfold really nicely.

I found a different solution.
However my Row 1 sequence happened to still be correct.

Have you checked the negative constraint? It is very easy to miss instances. Obviously you must be quite close to the correct answer. (There is only one solution - I have rechecked on a solver)
