I really appreciate the positive comments on the former two puzzles involving this combination of lines (
Sumthing in between
and
Sumtimes lines get messy). I made this one as an introduction to the ruleset and as a practice puzzle for a (much) harder puzzle releasing tomorrow. Enjoy!
Here are the rules:
- Normal Sudoku rules apply.
- On teal lines, the digits between the two endpoints sum to the product of the endpoint digits.
- Purple lines are renban lines, i.e. digits hereon are non-repeating, consecutive digits in any order.
- Gold lines obey the restrictions of both teal and purple lines.
E.g. 3-5-5-8-6 would NOT be a valid gold line as it is only a valid teal line (3*6=5+5+8) but not a valid purple line.
All parts of the given lines are visible.
The puzzle is also available online in the
CtC App. As always, I will greatly appreciate any feedback!
Solution code: Box 1 in reading order.
