Subtraction Game (Killer/arrow sudoku)

(Published on 18. July 2024, 14:13 by sujoyku)

This puzzle has originally been published in Artisanal Sudoku, Volume 130. This weekly newsletter by James Sinclair (jwsinclair) offers new exciting and very approachable puzzles.

The puzzle combines killer and arrow logic and should have a difficulty of approximately 1.5 stars. I wish you happy solving!

- Normal sudoku rules apply, i.e. each row, column and 3x3 region has to contain the digits from 1 to 9 once each.

- Diagonal: On the negative main diagonal digits do not repeat.

- Killer cages: Digits in a cage must sum to the clue in the top left.

- Arrows: Digits on an arrow sum to the digit in the circle from which the arrow emerges.
