This was my submission for Scojo's weekly puzzle prompt, redeemed by gdc. The idea was to use shading modifiers. I had so much fun using "split pea" lines with my last puzzle that I decided to use them again, and I think this rule could be very interesting for future puzzles!
Many thanks especially to VitaminZ for some wonderful suggestions on this one!
Rules:
Sudoku: Normal sudoku rules apply.
Yin/yang: Shade some cells so that all shaded cells are orthogonally connected, and all unshaded cells are orthogonally connected. No 2x2 region can be completely shaded or unshaded.
Hot/cold: One of the shaded regions is "hot" - every cell in this region has 1 added to its value. The other shaded region is "cold" - every cell in this region has 1 subtracted from its value.
Split pill arrows (split peas): The sum of the values of cells on lines connecting two circles is equal to a concatenation of the two values in the circles, in some order. For example, 3_346_1 is valid, as 3+4+6=13.
Every line between two circles is summed separately.

Happy solving! Please leave a comment if you enjoyed this one, and check out some of my other puzzles!
Solution code: The "cold" digits in column 5, top to bottom.

Very nice new constraint and works well with the modifiers. I saw you also made one with S-cells and hope to find time to check that out soon. The opening to this was fantastic!

I love this new ruleset! I will do as many of these as you care to make :)
And this one is quite a bit more approachable than the first I think.
