Knighted X-Scrapers
(Published on 16. July 2024, 21:25 by Scojo)
Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply: Place the digits 1-9 once each in every row, column, and 3x3 box.
- Anti-Knight: Cells a chess knight's move apart cannot contain the same digit.
- Clues outside the grid are both X-Sum AND Skyscraper clues. As an X-Sum, the clue gives the sum of first X digits in that row or column, where X is the first digit in that row or column. As a Skyscraper, the clue represents how many digits would be visible when standing at the clue looking at its row or column, if each digit were a building with the height of its value. For example, the sequence 132495678 would have a skyscraper clue of 4, because you could see the buildings of heights 1, 3, 4, and 9, but the 5, 6, 7, and 8 would be hidden behind the 9, and the 2 is hidden by the 3. A '?' in a clue may represent any integer value.

Brilliant puzzle. Quite magical, the way it all flowed.

Woah, this is nuts! Even with the anti-knight constraint, making a unique puzzle with so few clues is insane! Amazing.
