One Disjoint Pilgrimage

Solve with SudokuPad
• Normal Sudoku rules apply.
• Disjoint Set: Cells in the same relative position in different boxes cannot contain the same digits.
• The grid is partially covered with fog. Correctly placed digits will clear the fog around that cell. No guessing is required.
• Digits in a cage do not repeat and sum to the clue in the top left.
• Digits along each thermometer must increase starting from the bulb end.

hehe, yeah that got me too of course... just after I had all pairs split apart I put in that digit there (I know what a stupid ooo... but I used corner markings and they disappear when a digit is put in)
I realised that I had all those "pairs" the wrong way around now. sooo back a few steps and again with the right way around, funny how it still took me seven point eight eternities to fill the grid (with then just 25 digits missing or so)
fun puzzle... loved that!

I experienced the same as chain.reader where my incorrect assumption about a cage size gave me my first digit, but even from there it was a fun solve

This one's weird, even with a wrong assumption about a certain cage, I ended up solving it... I basically accidentally solved it regardless of that... unless you somehow intended it that way?

I did intend it that way. It didn't matter if you assumed the wrong cage size on what the possibilities were, so I thought it would be fun to surprise some people!

Thank you for this nice FOW/disjoint puzzle, meggen033! I loved its intuitive break-in and how great it flowed thereafter. It is a really worthy successor of your Knight Pilgrimage puzzle. Great setting!
