Rotational Pairs

(Published on 3. January 2025, 12:00 by Bearded Fool)

Rules:

Normal Sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1-9 once each in every row, column, and 3x3 box.

Additionally, cells with the same position within the boxes contain a set of the digits 1-9.

Kropki: Cells separated by a white dot contain consecutive digits. Cells separated by a black dot must contain digits in a 2:1 ratio. Gray dots must be either a black dot or a white dot. Which one must be determined by the solver.

XV: Within rectangles are XV clues. Cells separated by an X contain digits that sum to ten. Cells separated by a V contain digits that sum to five. Gray rectangles must contain either an X or a V. Which one must be determined by the solver.

Rotational Pairs: All Kropki dots and XV clues have a paired clue in the position that is 180 degrees of rotation away from them. Kropki rotational pairs are made up of one black dot and one white dot. XV rotational pairs must either both be Xs or both be Vs.
