Normal sudoku rules apply.
Cells connected by an X must sum to 10.
Cells connected by an V must sum to 5.
All X's and V's are given.
Cells connected by a black dot must be in a 1:2 ratio.
Cells connected by a white dot must be consecutive.
Solution code: give the digits of column 6 (top to bottom)

Brian sometimes, I do a bit different. I use purple and red for one V set, green and yellow for the other. Purple pairs with a blue 6-9, red with orange, green with dark grey, yellow w/ light grey. Helps me see all the options.

Oh, then there must be a solution that has the right column 6 and follows the constraints everywhere except in one place in column 4
Edit: Yup, my bad. If I swapped 2 cells in box 2, 3 in box 4 and 2 in box 7 then it follows the constraints. I’ll delete my previous comment

Two things are clear after playing this:
1. It’s a fun and clever puzzle
2. There is no way this is only a 2 star puzzle.

Out of curiosity, what's evetyone's colorado palette? I use blue for digit 1-4, orange for 6-9, 5 is uncolored - green/yellow streak in the blue for one V variant, red/purple for the other, and the same for the X partner digits, e.g. in this puzzle blue/yellow was 1 and orange/yellow 9, blue/green 4 and orange/green 6.

Got stuck on this; glad I came back for it and discovered there had been a missing V. Big fan of your XV puzzles!

It is suddenly doable with the missing V ;) But not two star easy i think.

Man, I gave up on earlier *XV-2 puzzles because I couldn't find the break in, after unlocking my 9 colour colouring book technique in the last one this one felt a lot smoother :)
