Thermal Counting Quads
(Published on 28. June 2024, 02:51 by MSDOS)
It looks like tallcat beat me to the counting quads idea! Here is my take on it. I hope you enjoy!
Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Counting Quads: Each digit touching a quad circle indicates how many times that digit appears around quad circles.
- Digits marked in a quad circle must appear in its surrounding cells.
- Digits along an arrow line must sum to the marked digit in the attached quad circle. A '?' means that the digit must be determined. If multiple arrow lines are connected to a circle, they will EACH sum to the marked digit independently.
- Digits along an orange line must strictly increase from the arrow to the circle.
- Digits along a blue line must strictly decrease from the arrow to the circle.

Solution code: Column 9 from top to bottom (9-digits).
