Standard Sudoku rules apply.
SHADING: In the completed grid, cells containing numbers exactly one greater than an immediate neighbour (diagonal or orthogonal) within their box are shaded (and otherwise unshaded).
YIN YANG: The shaded cells form a single orthogonally connected region, as do the unshaded cells. No 2x2 region is wholly shaded or unshaded.
DAISIES: Values in cells with daisies give the number of shaded cells in the (up to 8) surrounding cells. All possible daisies are given.
Solution code: Row 4

Apparently this solves without the negative constraint, because I completely forgot about it until after the solve. It probably would have significantly helped my solve time. After a very long but satisfying wrestle, the last digits flew in.
I liked the puzzle so much I tried it a second time using all the rules and it does solve a bit easier, but still a challenge, and you can't check part way to know if you are on the right track.

Thanks to the most recent commenters for their kind remarks.
It is gratifying that these recent Yin Yang puzzles have been so well received. I have more in the pipeline, I hope they live up to the same standard.

Negative constraints in these puzzles takes time to solve the puzzle. But once solved the satisfaction is of next level.

Another beauty - thanks ATK. Hope it truly isn’t the end of days - and that there are many more to come. Great constraint combination.

I don't have a ton of time for puzzles these days so it's really nice when there's a beautiful yet approachable puzzle I can tackle. Thank you!

Truly astonishing that you can have a negative constraint with this puzzle, and that it turned out to be useful in my solve! Lovely work, as usual Abdul :)
--Thank you for the kind comment. On a technical note: in order to have the negative constraint it suffices to give all Daisies. -- I know you know that -- so you see, that aspect is not strictly astonishing (though it surprises me too). :) ---ATK

I don't know if you consider your Yin Yangs a series, but I consider them one of my favorite series on this website.

Again you made a very nice construction with your special rule set. Thank you very much for sharing. But - please don’t let this puzzle be the last one with the lovely daisies!
