This was very entertaining to solve, going back and forth between counting, sudoku, and coloring cells. It was not at all obvious to me how the last bits would resolve until the end.

didnt feel like four-star difficulty to me — its not a quick solve, but none of the logic was too difficult or too hidden.
also i think the dealer is cheating, thats way more diamonds than a deck of card should have! :)
thanks for the puzzle!

I've never seen overlapping grids play such a key role in the logic of the puzzle. A fantastic construction, and beautifully presented. Thank you so much!

Hi ! For a stranger to the referenced card game, could you explain what a "suit' means in the context of this puzzle ?
---
juggler: Club, Diamond, Heart, or Spade (the four shapes you see in the puzzle). You can replace "suit" with "shape" if you like.
----
Sktx: Thank you for the tip. And for the puzzle, it's a wonderful construction, with really rich logic, I loved it !

First solve! (Among those who weren't co-authors of the puzzle! lol.) Really exceptional setting--the logic was tight, varied, and satisfying. I feel like you've created a perfect manifestation of your ruleset!
