- Normal sudoku rules apply, i.e. each row, column and 3x3 region has to contain the digits from 1 to 9 once each.
- Cages: Digits in a cage must sum to a square number. No two cages may sum to the same square number. (Digits in a cage may repeat.)
- Kropki: Digits joined by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio. Digits joined by a white dot are consecutive. (Not all dots are given.)
Here you can solve the puzzle online:
Solution code: Row 4 from left to right (9 digits in total)

The break-in is beautiful and left me thinking I'd broken everything for a moment, but after that it was a lovely series of deductions moving around the cages.

The grid doesn't look easy at all, but after finding the break-in it was very smooth and lots of fun. I had to restart because of a stupid math error but then it was just 10 mins fill-in. Thanks!

You are much welcome, sorryimLate! As often is with these "unknown cage total" puzzles, it might appear a little intimidating at first glance but actually becomes more approachable once you get a little hold. I am glad that you enjoyed a smooth solve.

Less impressive than the "ultimate prime cages" but definitely worth solving. Was fun. Thanks.

Fantastic puzzle, I don't think I've ever made more errors during a solve, but loved it nonetheless. I chose an apt username, today. Sorry sujoyku for my dumb comments and thanks for another great puzzle! <3

Thank you for your comment, Prince Myshkin! I am glad that you enjoyed solving the puzzle. And don't be too hard on yourself, I think everybody who loves puzzles knows the feeling when you keep on breaking just to notice later that you missed out on a possible alternative somewhere.
