Aads and Ends

(Published on 12. June 2024, 03:21 by MSDOS)

Rules:
  • Normal sudoku rules apply.
  • Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive.
  • Digits separated by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio.
  • Digits in a grey circle are odd.
  • Digits marked in a circle appear in its surrounding cells.

  • Adjacent digits on a green line must differ by at least 5.
  • Adjacent digits on an orange line must differ by at least 4.

  • Digits on a grey 'between' line must have values between the digits on the circled ends of the line.

  • For clarity due to the shading variance, the ends of the 'between' lines are also grey circles (meaning they are odd).

That was lovely and very approachable
The clue in the title may help but is absolutely not necessary for a solve.

This became a lot easier when I read all the rules. I didn't realize the ends of the between lines were also odd.

It may have been easy but the interplay between restraints led to many moments that had me going ... "Ooo, nice!"
