In addition to the things you mentioned, I was quite happy to achieve a geometric setup in which the numeric restrictions are just the digits 1 to 9 once each. I could also do it with only 8 digits, but having the 9th digit allowed me to morph the puzzle into a puzzle with the theme of a magic hammer.
