Archer's Warcry

(Published on 30. May 2024, 10:00 by Playmaker6174)

While watching my bittersweet pack sinking into deep sea as a lost gem, I shall share a random puzzle of mine with some cool ideas in it. This one wasn't the original version actually but rather an alternative version of that one, which had been stored in my forbidden collection for a long time (about 9+ months ago).

This puzzle is also inspired by my previous Archer's Roundtable puzzle in the past. The main idea is pretty visible but the interactions after that are a bit more surprising than some may expect.

I will also share the original version in a hidden comment as well if anyone is interested. For now, do enjoy the treat!
(Also my very next project will be something I haven't ever tried before so there's that as well :P)

Rules:

- Normal Sudoku rules apply: every row, column and 3x3 box contains digits from 1 to 9 each once. Digits mustn't repeat along both main diagonals.

- Digits along an arrow sum to the digit in the circle cell attached to that arrow. Digits along an arrow can repeat if allowed by other rules.

- In addition, each three-cell arrow (red highlighted) from four circles in the center box (box 5) forms a palindrome, i.e. a sequence that reads the same as forwards and backwards.

Looked impossible at first, but when it started to flow it was lovely and really not that hard.
