Killer Age

Killer Age

Normal sudoku rules apply.

The puzzle has an "age" to be determined by the solver. The three grey dominoes are the age expressed as a two-digit number, either top-to-bottom or left-to-right. They are the ONLY dominoes in the grid with the age in them top-to-bottom or left-to-right.

The killer cages are filled with digits which sum to every factor of the age, except for the age itself, which is too large for a killer cage sum. For each factor of the age, every possible combination of digits in those cages is uniquely present. For example, if 7 is a factor of the age, each of the cages 7, 1-6, 2-5, 3-4 and 1-2-4 would be present.

I’m glad that you updated the description. When I first read it couple of days ago I found it too unclear and closed the puzzle.

In fact, it is a very nice puzzle. Not very difficult, 3* seems to be fair, but very satisfying. Thank you for setting!
