Thanks for this lovely puzzle! Easy start with nice logical steps, then a little "what now?" for me in the mid-game, but after that a nice finish. Very enjoyable, geat fun. :)

I as a beginner think this is a 1 Start. Eventhough it took me a long time to solve, always when I was stuck, afterwards I thought, hmmm, should have easily spotted this.
Besides the few stumbles I had, I felt it was a really nice and logic flow.
Thanks a lot!!

Lovely puzzle. I agree with others here and would place this as a 1-star for the straightforward solution path.

Thank you for this nice puzzle, meggen033! I think this is a clean 1 star puzzle. Usually, I do not base my rating upon the solving time, but rather on how fluid my solve path felt. For orientation, I consider questions like "Were there some steps which required me to find a new concept?", "How tough was the scanning?" and "Did I get stuck or was it always obvious where to look next?". Of course, this somehow relates to solving time. Anyhow, this one was a nice approachable puzzle that I very much enjoyed solving.

Thank you for the nice puzzle!
With regards to the discussion about the rating: I'm not an experienced solver (far from it), but I don't think time has anything to do with it. Speed comes with experience. The rating of the puzzle should be determined by the logic required to solve it. A 1* simply means it's beginner-friendly, while a 2* requires some advanced logic.

Fun puzzle! Thanks!
I happen to agree with the wide range of puzzles that fall under a 1-star rating. As someone that is neither a beginner nor an expert, it is strange that a GAS puzzle that takes me less than 5 minutes would be put in the same category as a puzzle that takes me 45min or more.
But I’ve chosen to view the ratings as not how long it will take, but how advanced the techniques needed to solve the puzzle will be. I wouldn’t expect to use set-theory or find a swordfish to solve a 1-star puzzle, but I would be prepared to use some of those concepts in a 3-star.

Nice & easy puzzle. Thanks!
Regarding your question (with my personal opinion):
I don't think a single GAS puzzle is worth creating a page here. I enjoy solving those, but in order to publish here I'd expect at least a set of small puzzle. As I'm mostly solving on mobile, copying the solution code takes more time than some GAS puzzles :D
The time needed for each puzzle varies quite a lot depending on how familiar the solver is et cetera...
What I usually expect for myself:
1-star: ~10 min
2-star: ~30 min
3-star: ~1 h
4-star: 2-2.5 h
5-star: anything above that up to several days :)

I feel as though 1-star puzzles need more clarification as they can range from a GAS taking less than 2 minutes to a puzzle that may take some beginners 20-30 minutes (or even longer) to complete. I would put this puzzle at 1.5-1.7 stars. What do you all think?
