Normal Sudoku rules apply.
Place the digits 1-9 so that they do not repeat in any row, column, or 3x3 box.
Fog of War
Most of the grid is covered in fog. Placing correct digits reveals the fog, no guessing is required..
5's live in Dutch Flats
All 5's in the grid must have a '1' directly above it or a '9' directly below it. It may have both, but it doesn't need both.
Knight Cages
Within a cage, only cells for which there is at least one other cell with the same digit a knight's move away from that cell, count toward the given total for the cage. Cage totals appear in the top left corner..

Previous puzzles in the Dutch Flat Mates series:
Hint 1 - Where to start
Some cells have few knight move options, and it's tricky to make the cage total work.
Hint 2 - Where to look nextCheck clues, you may have deduced a digit but not placed their Knight friend yet. Don't forget Dutch Flats, which are a little trickier in this puzzle than normal.
Hint 3 - Having trouble in the midsolveIf you have filled in most of the first 4 columns, R4C5 is a cell that is worth considering.
Hint 4 - Having trouble in the endsolveFirst, please reapply Hints 1 and 2 - lol - If you're in Box 9, look at the [3] cage before the [15] cage.

Wonderful setting of a great puzzle! I really enjoyed solving this. In my opinion the puzzle would be even better if there were no hints… Thank you very much for sharing.

Wow. Thank you so much for setting this unique sudoku :)
It took me quite some time to resolve box 8 but I loved the combination of killer cages and knight moves. The time I spend was totally worth it. ^^

This series has been an absolute joy. My first experience with Dutch flat mates was the yin yang puzzle and this is my first time seeing knight cages. I love the way these puzzles interact with killer cages :)
