Parity Lines Sandwich
(Published on 29. April 2024, 03:41 by RockyRoer)
The Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- [Sandwich]Numbers outside the grid (which must be deduced) are sandwich clues, and represent the sum of the digits sandwiched between the 1 and the 9 in that row or column.
- [Parity Counting Lines]Tan lines are Parity Counting Lines -- the number on one end of the line indicates the number of cells on the line containing odd values, and the number on the other end indicates the number of cells on the line containing even numbers on the line.
- example: a line containing 3125674 would be valid - the 3 indicates that there are three even cells (2,6, 4) and the 4 indicates there are four odd values 3, 1, 5, and 7.
- example: a line containing 0, 14, 0, 4 would be valid. The 0 indicates theres no odd numbers and the 4 indicates there are four even numbers (0, 14, 0 and 4).
The Puzzle:
Play it on Sven's Sudoku Pad (solution code works only for digits inside the 9x9 grid)
Solution code: All 5 numbers (including the sandwich sums) on the line from Row 6 Column 1 to Row 8 Column 1 (?? digits)
