But Naught for Murder
(Published on 3. May 2024, 20:18 by qoala)
Zero has murdered and replaced one of the digits, but which one?
A hopefully more approachable take on a rule concept that I tried previously with Hex-Proof
- Normal sudoku rules apply, except that instead of the digits 1-9, one digit (to be determined by the solver) doesn't appear and is instead replaced with 0.
(Fill the grid, such that every row, column, & box contains each available digit once.)
- Little Killer: Small numbers outside the grid give the sum of the indicated diagonal. Digits may repeat along a diagonal where allowed by other constraints.
- X-Sum: Large numbers outside the grid give the sum of the first X digits along the row or column, where X is the first digit seen.
