Killer in the Fog

Follow the whisperers to find the killer hiding in the fog.
Standard sudoku rules apply: The digits 1 through 9 appear in every row, column, and box.
Killer-Cages: Digits in cages cannot repeat and must sum to the value shown in the upper left corner of the cage.
German Whispers: Usually shown as green lines, adjacent digits along a German Whispers line must differ by at least five.
Fog: Part of the grid is covered with fog. As correct digits are placed, the fog will clear from cells surrounding the correct digit, revealing additional clues. There is always enough information in the revealed portion of the grid to place another correct digit without guessing. Digits can be placed within the fog.
Solution code: Column 9 top to bottom.

This was my very first puzzle on logic masters and I had a blast! Very fun to see it unfold throughout the solve.Will definitely be looking into more of wuc's puzzles!

The fog light really helped. I was stuck there for a while originally trying to disambiguate that cage. Still posed some serious challenges along the way.

Very nice puzzle! Break in was smooth, but every clue after that felt like a real challenge
