-each row, column and 3x3-region must contain exactly two stars

-stars may not touch each other, not even diagonally

-two stars may never be placed at the opposite ends of an arrow (cells with an arrow may also contain a star)

-the cell marked with a circle must not contain a star

Solve online (answer check for grey shading as stars)

Solution code: For each row from top to bottom, give the number of empty cells between the two stars in that row.

I think I don't understand the rules correctly. In a row or column with an arrow it is not allowed to place one star in one of the four cells on one side of the arrow and the other star in one of the four cells on the opposite side of the arrow, is that the intended meaning? In this case I run quickly into a contradiction.

edit from CHalb: Thanks to Dandelo I knew now what to do. I suggest to change the German instruction from "zwei Sterne dürfen sich auf den Enden desselben Pfeiles nicht befinden" to "zwei Sterne dürfen sich nicht an den Enden desselben Pfeiles befinden".
