Dark Bramble
(Published on 14. April 2024, 15:15 by 99%Sneaky)
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive. Digits separated by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio (re: one is double the other). Not all dots (for both colors) are given.
- Digits along the arrow sum to the digit in the attached circle.
- Digits along a thermometer must increase from the bulb end.
- The digits in the cage sum to the small number printed in the corner.
- Digits on lines connecting large white circles must lie between the circled digits numerically. (Clarification: R5C5 is part of two between lines and three different between lines end at R5C4).
- Adjacent digits along a thick green line must differ by at least 5.
- Adjacent digits along the thin orange line must differ by at least 4.
- Digits along the medium-thickness purple line form a set of consecutive digits in any order.

weird. i solved the PREVIOUS version of this puzzle, with the box 8 circle in row 9. the solutions appear to be the same ! i suspect that the new version is easier.

It's the same solution but I agree that it's probably easier with the circle in row 8 as opposed to row 9.

nice puzzle (but rather harder than the 2 rating).
there are some errors in the BL rules in the SP link. more important: it should be specified that r5c4 terminates THREE between lines.

Thanks for letting me know, everything should be all set now.
