Miracle Sudoku-Once again

(Published on 14. April 2024, 13:51 by Sumanta(ANU))

My third, after Miracle triomino and An Approachable Miracle, This one is motivated from a beautiful puzzle, Rising Circles, by Prof Dori. Ever Since I saw Rising Circle, I thought it might be possible to make a circle Sudoku on a blank grid. Here is the result. Enjoy!!

===Rules===

Normal Sudoku rules apply.

A digit in a circle implies how many circle contains that digit.

Place some circles in the grid such that a box “m” contain exactly “m” number of circles. (eg, box 1 have 1 circle, box 3 have 3 circles etc)

If a cell, eg R1C1, contain a circle then all the cells beneath it (8 cells in this case) must contain circles.

No two 9’s in the grid see each other in a single Chess King’s or Chess Knight’s move. But every 9 must see at least another 9 along one of the four possible diagonals (may see more than 1).

======

Note: Boxes are numbered normally, 123 (top), 456(middle), 789 (Low)

Very cool!
Deserves a higher rating in my view.

@TheRiddler...Thank you. I think the present rating system of LMG is not a correct way of rating. Just one or two very bad rating can reduce the rating substantially, even if many solvers have liked it.

O_O
I'm speechless that I solved this.
At first I was just smh-ing...
pondered the 9s, and some regular knights/kings coloring to test the waters I pulled through.
Quite a ruleset.

@Chain.reader...Thank you for the solve and feedback. I am happy that you found the puzzle enjoyable to solve.

So much fun! The 9s were such a great way to assemble a familiar circle pattern :)

Amazing! Took me quite some time to figure out the possible interactions... a breath of fresh air nonetheless.
