ATARI Space Invaders

(Published on 22. April 2024, 05:00 by Will Power)

Normal Sudoku rules apply. KILLER CAGES- Numbers in cages sum to the number in the top left corner of the cage. KROPKI PAIRS- Numbers with a white dot between them are consecutive. Numbers with a black dot between them are in a ratio of 2:1. Not all possible dots are given. Alien ships have no effect on the puzzle.

It agree that it would have been fun if the alien ships had some function in the puzzle, BUT. I also think there's value in having them just for the looks. It's fun when there's a theme. Even if it doesn't impact the solving, it still makes me smile because it's cute :)

Nice easy puzzle. But I was disappointed to learn that the lines were purely cosmetic.

The Kropki rows were easy to figure out, the rest was almost auto-fill-in. In my solve, the 10 cage in box 4 and the 14 cage in box 8 were not needed. Very nice puzzle, though. Thanks for setting.
