Thanks to Scojo for the inspiration for this puzzle! as this puzzle was set for their weekly prompt.
I think this puzzle is somewhere between 2 to 3 star difficulty. Comments about the puzzle or its difficulty are highly appreciated.
Rules:
Normal sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1 to 9 in each Row, Column, and 3X3 box.
Draw a one-cell-wide loop of orthogonally connected cells. The loop may not touch itself, not even diagonally. The loop acts as a Ten line, i.e. the loop must be divided into one or more contiguous groups of cells that each sum to 10. These groups of cells cannot overlap.
Digits in a quadruple clue must appear in the four surrounding cells at least once.
The loop must enter exactly one of the four cells surrounding each quadruple clue, and this cell (the cell that is both part of the loop and part of the quadruple) indicates the number of loop cells in its corresponding 3X3 box.

Solution code: Row 7 digits from left to right.

Very nice. Approachable break in. But took me some time with the tens. Felt 2.5 star to me. Really great setting thx.

I found the loop easily enough, but the rest was a grind, had to keep backtracking after spotting my mistakes. Enjoyable, but I was happy to finish!

Loved this. I'm a fairly new solver and with this puzzle it never seemed too tricky to know where to look next, but I still had to stop and think what to do when I got there. Very satisfying!

Really cool to see another quad-based loop puzzle, and the 10 line deductions were interesting but never too tricky. Great puzzle!

Thank you for this fun puzzle, palpot! I often struggle a little when attempting path-drawing puzzles, but this one was thoroughly enjoyable.
