Horses are better in pairs

It's a puzzle that I made during the first round of dumediat's Speed Setting Competition and finalized after the round. The competition has several rounds of 1 on 1 battles where each setter selects 1 constraint, sends it to the event organizers, and during the round both setters reveal opponent's constraint and set a puzzle where both selected constraints play significant role. For this round, I selected doubler cells, and MathGeek (my opponent) selected anti-knight. So if you wonder "why set a puzzle with anti-knight and doublers?", that's the answer XD Anyway, despite the constraints, I think it turned to be a good one, I wouldn't publish it otherwise :)

Normal sudoku rules apply.
Doublers: One cell in every row, column and box is a doubler. This cell counts as double its value for the rules below. Each of the digits 1 to 9 appears exactly once in a doubler cell.
Anti-knight: Cells separated by a knight's move (as in chess) cannot contain the same value as each other.

Amazing puzzle! What to look at for the break in seems well telegraphed but the depth and complexity of interactions there on astounded me. The confluence of events you shared that brought this puzzle into existence gives me personal joy that this puzzle exists at all. Thank you!
