Ordinary sudoku rules apply. Place the letters ABCDEFGHI once each in every row, column, and 3x3 box.
The outlined cages contain these 3-letter words once each reading left to right or top to bottom:
ACE, BAD, BAG, BED, BEG, BID, BIG, CAB, CHI, FED, FIG, HAD
White dots separate one particular pair of consecutive letters everywhere in the grid that particular pair of letters are orthogonally adjacent. ALL white dots are given. (“Consecutive” means next to each other in the list of letters in alphabetical order ABCDEFGHI).
The letter to the left of a “less than” sign appears in the English alphabet before the letter to the right of the sign.
To check your solution on Sven Neumann’s SudokuPad and on Logic Masters, replace letters with numbers. A=1, B=2, C=3, D=4, E=5, F=6, G=7, H=8, I=9.
