Color the cells on the inside of the loop in one color and the cells on the outside of the loop in a different color.
Solution code: The lengths of the line segments passed through if traveling from left to right along rows 5, 10 and 15. For the example puzzle, using only row 3, this would be "1224".

This took me almost a whole day and several restarts. But considering the joy I felt every time I discovered a new bit of logic it was definitely worth the time spent.

Rule fix

What do you mean by "cells occupied by the loop"? The number of consecutively used edges of all up to 8 edges surrounding the clue? In your example 4 and 1 for the left clue and 1 and 1 for the right clue? Thanks.

Sorry, that was a mistake by me when writing the rules using normal tapa-like loop rules where you draw lines in cells instead of edges. It's supposed to say "vertices occupied by the loop", not "cells". So for the left clue the loop takes a stretch of two vertices above the clue and five below it, and the right clue takes a stretch of two on the left side and two above it.
