I rated this puzzle 5 stars because I think it is harder than any other I have posted. I appreciate all feedback and ratings. Please read the rules with care.
Rules:
”Never 4” rule applies: place digits 0 to 9 (never 4) in each row, column, and box.
Adjacent digits that sum to 10 are separated by an X.
Black dots separate adjacent digits that are in a 1:2 ratio.
In every killer cage the digits sum to the same total “Y.”
All x's, all black dots, and all possible 2-cell cages with digits that sum to Y are given.
Solution code: Column 2 row 8 no spaces

Never a bore. Keep these imaginative creations coming.
I can see the possibility of the never concept on a larger grid, but would it work for 8*8 or a squish puzzle?
Hello Fisherman. You have been kind in your comments. Would you test a puzzle for me ? It has a fish in the title.: https://sudokupad.app/1l0o22sg97
Please be honest.
