Galaxies Collide
I and marty_sears made another puzzle, this time easier than our previous collabs but still interesting. Hope you enjoy it!
Rules:
• Normal sudoku rules apply.
• Divide the grid into two galaxies. Every cell in the grid belongs to one of the two galaxies.
• Each galaxy must consist of a region of orthogonally connected cells, and must have 180 degree rotational symmetry. (The central point around which a galaxy is symmetrical doesn't need to actually belong to that galaxy.)
• No 2x2 area may belong entirely to one galaxy.
• One of the two galaxies behaves like a German whisper; orthogonally adjacent cells in this galaxy must have a difference of at least 5.
• An arrow cell counts how many cells in its own galaxy are being pointed at altogether by its arrow(s), and this combined total is displayed on the arrow cell (the arrow cell itself is not included in the count.) Vision is not obscured by the other galaxy's cells.
Solution code: All the digits in row 1.

That was fantastic! The implications of the rules, the minimalism. Thanks a lot, Prof.Dori and marty_sears!

Wait how can the solution be unique with these constraints? Wait how can there be a solution at all? Ohhhhh...

Break in was brutal and awesome. After that it was very smooth.

Wonderful! Original ruleset, very fun to work out the implications!

I got a very joyful ride on the solution path! Thank you so much for sharing and setting this lovely puzzle.

What a cool idea! Some tricky questions to ask, but the answers are so satisfying and so elegant. It seems like too little information, but each clue packs a powerful punch. Great stuff

I am surprised by the little amount of clues in the puzzle and hardly believe that this has unique solution, and yet it does! And the solution path is so clever as well!

Great puzzle! I had to ask the right questions for the beginning of the solve, but once the galaxies started to take shape, everything flowed impeccably!

Fixed the rules!

I think this was my first "galaxies" puzzle and it didn't go too well... but the puzzle is fascinating with some really clever logic, especially for the break-in. I liked it a lot!

No... skorp17 again...
