Although I already have set some “unknown total” killer sudokus a while ago, this puzzle is pretty much motivated by Flinty’s fantastic puzzle “Thermal Equilibrium”. If you haven’t solved it already, I highly recommend giving it a try. Here the unknown killer cages are complemented by counting circles. The difficulty could be 3/5. As always, your comments are much appreciated. I wish you happy solving!

- Normal sudoku rules apply.

- Diagonals: On the main diagonals digits do not repeat.

- Killer cages: In EACH cage the digits sum to the same total which has to be determined by the solver.

- Circles: A circled digit indicates exactly how many circles contain that digit.
