Molopo (XY-Differences Sudoku)

About time I had a go at glum_hippo's XY-differences!

  • Sudoku: Each row, column, and region indicated by thick borders in the grid must contain the digits 1 to 9 once each.
  • XY-differences: Each pair of horizontally connected cells that differ by the leftmost digit in their row is separated by a diamond. Each pair of vertically connected cells that differ by the topmost digit in their column is separated by a diamond. (There are no other diamonds in the grid.)
  • The inequality sign points at the smaller digit.

Solution code: Column 9. I.e. the 9 digits in column 9 from top to bottom, for example: 123456789

Wow what a neat puzzle with such constraint, but the scanning got pretty hard for me later on with the negative constraint, still it was nice to see how it all came together at the end :)

That was fun. I reckon it’s a 3 difficulty - flows nicely, nothing very tricky.
