Solve 4 puzzles one by one. Each puzzle relies on the solution of the previous one. Each step is solvable on its own (e.g. you don't need to consider sudoku while solving masyu).
Rules:
- 1) Shikaku:
Divide the grid into rectangular or square pieces. Each piece must contain exactly one digit, that shows its area.
- 2) Star battle:
Place stars into the grid, so that each shikaku rectangle has one, and each row/column/3x3 box contains two of them. Stars can't be adjacent, even diagonally.
- 3) Masyu:
Stars from star battle act as masyu circles - if it has a digit in the same cell, it is black; if not - it's white.
Draw the single non-branching non-intersecting loop.
The loop should pass through all circles in such a way that:
White circles must be passed through in a straight line, but the loop must turn in the previous and/or the next cell.
Black circles must be turned upon and the loop must travel straight through the next and the previous cell.
- 4) Killer sudoku:
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Groups of cells not visited by the masyu loop act as killer cages.
Those groups and killer cages already drawn in the grid must all sum to the same total.
Solve in:
Solution code: Row 9 then column 9 (18 digits)

Amazing construction. The puzzles in themselves are rather easy but they are pleasurable to solve and the fact that you managed to nest all of them is impressive.

So I am guessing that each rule is a step to follow. IE, 1) must be done first?

from @Testarossa - yes, exactly, and next step always rely on previous one

Very cool puzzle! It's quite astonishing to me that a puzzle with such interlinked steps in so many genres can exist. No individual step was particularly hard, but I'd give the overall difficulty closer to 3 stars due to the multitude of rule sets.
