(Published on 15. March 2024, 20:27 by 99%Sneaky)

  • Normal sudoku rules apply.
  • Digits along arrows sum to the digit in the attached circle.
  • Digits in a grey square are even. Digits in grey circles are odd.
  • Digits in cages sum to the number in the top-left corner of the cage.
  • Digits along thermometers strictly increase from the bulb end.
  • Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive. Digits separated by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio (re: one is double the other). Not all dots (for both colors) are given.

I'm very surprised I actually caught the fish. A nice puzzle that took quite a lot of staring in the beginning.

This took a bit longer than expected, but really glad I stuck with it. What a lovely puzzle. Thank you Sneaky!

For me it was definitely a 3/5 and I used the same method as most hidden solvers seemed to prefer.

The "fish method" on the other hand is a complete mystery to me.

Thanks so much for the kind words Snaques :)
The fish are definitely lurking deep beneath the surface which can make them hard to spot.

With so many clues, it can be a bit tricky to get a foothold, but once a few digits fall, the rest went rather smoothly. Found one especially cute bit of logic in box 5 whether or not that step was was intended, it was still delightful

This looks messy at first blush, but the logic is very neat! Well done!

Thanks for playing. I agree with you that the clues do look a bit chaotic at first, which makes sense because in the game Giant's Deep is a chaotic planet :)

Had to fight against the current (figuratively speaking) to get the first digits placed but was able to solve the puzzle smoothly after the tricky opening. Definitely 3 stars for difficulty, loving the series so far!
