Normal Sudoku rules apply.
5's live in Dutch Flats
All 5's in the grid must have a '1' directly above it or a '9' directly below it. It may have both, but it doesn't need both.
Examples provided below on an empty grid.
Diagonal X-Sums
Clues outside the grid are the sum of the first X cells in the corresponding diagonal, where X is the digit in the cell nearest to the clue. Digits may repeat, and where X exceeds the number of cells in the direction, the sum bounces off the edge at a 90-degree angle and continues.

Next Week Teaser
We have an exciting Yin Yang 'Dutch Flat Mates' lined up next week, from a new guest to the series (it'll be a surprise!). This puzzle has an unconventional twist on the 5s rule, with a slight rebrand to make clear that the rules are a little different.
Previous puzzles in the Dutch Flat Mates series:
Hint 1 - Where to look first
'76' is big, '58' is less big.
Hint 2 - Where to look next.Where is 5 in Row 1?
Hint 3 - Where to look next.Work downwards on the outside clues, but don't forget about 1s, 5s and 9s.
Solution code: Digits from Row 8

This was one of the easier ones of these I've done but then again I've been doing the whole Dutch flat series in the past week so I'm very comfortable with the logic. Still a great solve though

Quite difficulte, however I have found one hint redundant

Flinty, I absolutely love your Dutch Flat puzzles. This one was great fun as ever.
I didn’t actually look at the preview before I started and had a brief moment of panic, but it was a fun break in and great logic throughout.
Thank you!

Very nice puzzle. You get an A+ for originality. I get the feeling we will be seeing more of these ricochet diagonal X-Sums.

I have trouble rating this puzzle's difficulty. Everything flows logically, once you find the logic, so it's a 2 or a 3. On the niceness scale it scores over the top!
