Schrödinger's Knights

(Published on 9. March 2024, 11:50 by lepton)

Place the digits 0-9 once in each row, column, and region. There is one S-cell in each row, column, and region that contains two digits. Cells a chess knight's move apart cannot contain the same digit, or both be S-cells. Digits along a thermometer increase from the bulb end. There are no S-cells on the thermometer.

An absolutely brilliant puzzle. I had to pull out every kind of marking and color as well, and even then it still took half a dozen attempts. But solving the puzzle was wonderfully satisfying. Bravo, lepton!
