EquaLite Cages 101: Introduction to EquaLite Cages

(Published on 8. March 2024, 14:50 by gUBBLOR)

Here's the start of another series of puzzles that's essentially Equality Cages Lite. My goal is to combine the fun logic of Equality Cages with a bunch fairly easy 6x6 puzzles that can be solved in just a few minutes. I've decided to call them EquaLite Cages, and here's the first one! The next puzzle in the series:
EquaLite Cages 102: Renbans

All my series:
Equality Cages
EquaLite Cages
Shifter Lines
Shifter Dots

Rules:
Normal 6x6 sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1 through 6 in each empty cell. Digits must not repeat within the same row, column, or box.

EquaLite cages: Cages must have an equal number of low (1,2,3) and high (4,5,6) digits AND an equal number of even (2,4,6) and odd (1,3,5) digits. Digits may not repeat in a cage.

Kropki dots: A black dot between cells indicates cell values with a 2:1 ratio. A white dot between cells indicates cells with consecutive values. Not all dots are shown.

I like the ruleset, love the flow, but still I needed to start from the beginning :-) so it took me way too long. Thanks for the ruleset.
