Divide the grid into regions of orthogonally connected cells. Each region must contain exactly one white square clue and one black square clue. A number in a black square indicates the area of the largest rectangle contained within the region. A number in a white square indicates the area of the smallest rectangle containing the entire region.

Solution code: For each designated row, enter the number of consecutive cells between region boundaries, from left to right.

Für mich definitiv mehr als nur eine „Fingerübung“! Das ist ein völlig neuer Puzzle-Typ, gell? Wer hat‘s erfunden?
