Old Miles had nothing to do with this puzzle.
Normal sudoku rules apply.
The grid is covered with fog. There is one initial light source that has cleared some fog; place correct digits into the cells to clear more fog.
Small numbers in cages indicate the sum of the digits placed in friendly cells within the cage. Cage totals do not necessarily appear in the top-left corner. Digits may not repeat in cages. All cages are 3 cells in size.
A cell is called friendly when its digit is equal to its row, column, or box number.
Cells containing the universal sign of friendship must contain the same digit.
Solution code: The digits in column 2 from top to bottom

This puzzle is moving. Not only in a literal sense, with the animated background creating movement on my screen - the puzzle also moved me on an emotional level. I am fully convinced this masterpiece contributes to a more peaceful world, as the united KNT family will continue to fight for that goal. Bravo, FricyYoot!

You need a link that doesn't have an animated gif as the puzzle background. I wouldn't have solved it if SudokuPad didn't provide a way to disable the background image. This is an interesting idea basically ruined by a bad decision.

I enjoyed this puzzle! The negative constraints are fun.
I enjoyed it better once I found the "hide background image" option in the sudokupad settings though.
