Corners and Quads

(Published on 5. March 2024, 22:57 by Jolly Rogers)

RULES:

  • Normal Sudoku rules apply.
  • Squares: Divide the grid into non-overlapping square shaped regions. The sum of a square's four corner cells must be divisible by the number of cells that square contains. E.g the sum of the corners for a 3x3 square must be divisible by 9. Every cell must belong to a square and a 1x1 square region is not valid.
  • Parity: Orthogonally adjacent cells separated by a square region border must have the same parity (odd or even).
  • Quads: Digits in a circle must appear in one of the four surrounding cells.
