Rules:

Normal sudoku rules apply. The digits within a cage must sum to the small clue in the top-left corner of that cage. Cells separated by an inequality sign points to the smaller digit.

The > symbol is the key to this one. A great 9 minute and 40 second solve. Thanks for setting and sharing!

Super puzzle! The break-in is marvelous!

I can see why this is rated easy, since the solve path is immediately apparent, but making sure you're not introducing errors when following that path is surprisingly difficult!

Beautiful puzzle. The break in is probably 3 stars in my opinion, but then it solves immediately.

Great puzzle!! The break in definitely took me longer than I would have hoped. Thanks for sharing.

Very fascinating puzzle

Brilliant stuff! There are two clues in the entire puzzle. I hope it's not a spoiler if I say the cage is important. :)

What a lovely cage! This puzzle really makes me doubting my ability to calculate though!

Great original puzzle! Thanks for sharing. I rank it ***-difficulty because the start looks daunting (at least to me it did).

I’m with @AshBrown, I don’t know why this works! A different type of puzzle for sure. Although the beginning and ending were smooth for me, the middle was where I made some mistakes. Glad the solution was provided so I could learn from those mistakes.

Given the one star difficulty, and the fact that to this point 45 people have solved this, I am apparently the only one who found the break in brutally hard. However, after that, everything fell into place nearly automatically I sincerely hope that this comment does not give away any hint for solving this, otherwise, please delete it, or put it in the hidden section.

Surprisingly easy once you understand the reason for the less than sign. Thank you.
