Rules:
Sudoku: Place the digits 1-9 into each row, column and outlined 3x3 box without repeats.
Ambiguity: Each given line in the grid is either a Renban line or a Region Sum line. No line possesses both properties at the same time. Which line is which type must be deduced by the solver.
Renban Lines: A Renban line contains a set of consecutive, non-repeating digits in any order.
Region Sum Lines: Box borders divide each line into segments with the same sum.

Pretty intricate solve, but lots of cool and satisfying deductions overall! As others pointed out, I also like the way you integrated the idea of 'a line cannot be both types' into the solve :)

I really liked this! Had a smooth solve, especially after learning that lines must be either Renban or Region Sum, but not both. :)

Cool little puzzle! Definitely really really hard, but it was always easy to figure out where to look next (imo) so it wasn't too terribly frustrating.
