Genus 3
I suspect this puzzle is on the higher end of 4/5 difficulty. I will let the solvers decide since I received mixed opinions on this while testing.
Rules:
Construct nine non-overlapping 3x3 regions in the grid containing digits 1-9 once each.
The rest of the grid must be left empty.
Digits must not repeat along any row or column.
Digits on a grey thermometer must strictly increase from the bulb-end.
The sum of digits along a diagonal indicated by a clue outside the grid must satisfy either the given inequality or the corresponding relationship with other such clues.
Try it on Sudokupad.
Puzzle:
Solution code: Row 3 (left to right) and column 9 (top to bottom) of the main 11x11 grid; enter 0's for empty spaces in the row/column.

Very nice. It was relatively easy constructing the regions, but the last bit took me ages. Maybe 5 stars
